09 Real-Life Horror Children Disappearance Stories | Missing Kids Were Never Found | Charley Project
The Charley Project profiles over 14,000 “cold case” missing people mainly from the United States. It does not actively investigate cases; it is merely a publicity vehicle for missing people who are often neglected by the press and forgotten all too soon.
This site was named in honor of Charley so that his memory, and the memories of all other long-missing people in this country, would not be forgotten. His pictures also appear on the website banners. A history of the Charley Project can be found here.
The Charley Project began as the Missing Persons Cold Case Network (MPCCN), which was founded in 2001 by Jennifer Marra. It was designed as a publicity vehicle for cold cases of missing people. (Jennifer Marra had also founded The Doe Network.)
