Authorities are posing for the public’s help locating a young boy who was taken by his father within the Lansing area.
The Amber Alert was issued Monday morning by the Lansing Township local department . Police are trying to find 26-year-old Phoenix Washington and his son two-year old Phoenix Washington Jr.
Authorities say the daddy took the boy within the early morning hours of Monday. The suspect and his son are during a stolen 2011 black Mazda four door with Michigan car place number EFM 6569.
No other details are released at this point . Anyone who spots the vehicle or has more information should call 911 immediately.
