The founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel Akure, prophet Alfa babatunde again appeared in court today in continuation of his trial over the disappearance of one year old Gold Kolawole in his church last year.
The trial was adjourned on the 27th April this year by an Ondo State High Court presided over by Justice Olusegun Odusola.
Prophet Babatunde and six members of his church are standing trial on a three count-charge including conspiracy to and abetting kidnap.
Oficials of the Nigerian Correctional Service brought them to court on the 2nd of June, 2020 and were made to undergo Covid 19 precautionary measures.
The state Attorney General and Commissioner for justice, Adekola Olawoye led appearance for the state while olusola oke led the team for the defendants.
Father of the missing boy, Temitope Kolawole is expected to testify before the court today.
