Hello everyone, in today's video I will be discussing the very recent disappearance of Jennifer Marie Coleman. Jennifer went missing only a few days ago..(August 30 or 31st, 2021)
We Can't be sure, but she may be wearing a tank top, spandex pants, sunglasses, and brown slip on two-toned boots.
Jennifer Lee Coleman, 34, of Virginia was supposed to check out of the West Glacier KOA on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 according to a release from the park. She was believed to have been hiking around Logan Pass on August 30 or 31, and may have been hiking solo on August 30, possibly to the Dragon's Tail or Highline Trail. Her vehicle was located at Logan Pass.
The AWARE Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding missing or endangered people, said Coleman is the daughter of the organization’s treasurer and vice president.
The foundation said she was last reported heard from via text message Aug. 30, shortly before noon when she sent a message to the chalet where here dogs were being boarded stating she would pick them up the next day, however, she never showed up..
According to the foundation, the sheriff’s office conducted a welfare check on her campsite and found all her belongings.
Anyone who may have heard from her or has any information, is asked to call Glacier National Park Police at (406)-888-7801 or 406-88-7077

I was not familiar with the AWARE Foundation, thank you fir sharing this, Bryan! You really are working overtime for these cases, I’m sure I speak for the rest of your audience when I say we certainly appreciate it! These cases are beyond troubling and tragic…I hope Jennifer is also found 😔
@Bryan’s Mysteries & Adventures on Trail that literally made me LOL because honestly I can be quite the pessimistic little biatch 🤣 mainly because I have depression…but I TRY to stay realistic, logical, and positive. When watching and reading stories/cases like these, it brings out a humbled and positive side because it’s a reminder of how delicate our lives really are. We could be super prepared, trained, professional at what we do, well-loved, all the things that you would think are the ‘right’ things could be done and still you could pass away or end up missing. So, without you even intending, these videos indirectly help some us get out of our dark days as we are reminded that we aren’t promised tomorrow nor even the next hour of our lives 🕊🙏
Awe I’m sure people see you in a much different light than you see yourself:) i mean obviously I’ve never met you, but you’ve always been super kind, and your picture is pretty, so I never would have guessed.. but I’m sorry that you battle with depression:( I know how hard that can but, but I’m so glad you’ve found ways of looking at the positive and finding ways to remind yourself that life is a gift🙏 and I’m Happy to know that my videos help you in a way🤗🙏
@Bryan’s Mysteries & Adventures on Trail they found her 🥺😭😭😭
She was found, dead so this video is offensive in my opinion.
@lina nicolia not sure how to respond except for the fact that I posted this video before she was found. Further the minute she was found I posted updates not only in the pinned comment section, but in following videos with tributes to her.. sorry you’re offended, however, to date I can’t predict the future.. yes, I could see your point had I made the video after she was found, but that’s not the case.. if you were familiar with my channel, and the efforts I’m making to try and help, I doubt you’d say that. Take care🙏
Also Bryan. Your brilliant safety tips are much appreciated and taken seriously. Be well .
Prayers that she is found soon…Glacier national park is huge with a lot of dangers. Beautiful but dangerous, Glacier is in my backyard and many people have disappeared here.
They found her body 😢
@Buck Fiden was she killed
@Diana She died of injuries sustained in a fall.
I use to hike and hunt alone here in Montana often but the grizz population has grown so much, we’re seeing them where we never would have expected. Aside from that I commonly see and mostly hear Timber wolves all the time hunting.
@Just Moi 😄😁😆😅😂🙃😳😳🙄😎😊
@Wasidana Tsali They certainly are scary BEAUTIFUL, don’t mess with them! No Wonder they are Wild Beasts…..💟🙈
@Diana C AMEN 💖🙏🐻
@Sam I Am 🙄
@Diana C I like your way of thinking,…. 😁❣️ Wish more ppl had common sense like I’m seeing you have. Everything you’ve said makes sense to me….. 🦋
So much for solo hiking. This story keeps repeating itself. Learn and live. Hope for the best. 👍👍👍
Hell, why even leave the house to maximize the chances of nothing bad happening? You gotta live life, you know? If I didn’t hike alone I wouldn’t have hiked about 90% of the trails I’ve been on, which are some of my happiest memories.
@Chelsea I agree.
Is that what you say every time someone dies in a car crash? “well, so much for driving. This story keeps repeating itself”. Life is terminal man. Sorry you live so frightened
@Steve G exactly. I’m almost always solo hiking and that’s exactly how I like it. The solitude is the point for me. I take precautions, but you can’t be scared of everything.
@Steve G I understand you but what about your loved ones that are left behind? Sometimes I think, we need to consider the lifetime of pain and grief we can leave our loved ones with when we do something “risky”. The least we should do, is be totally equipped and take every precaution. However, we have freedom of choice, so we do what we choose. Hopefully, for our sakes and theirs, we don’t do it selfishly. So sad. Do take care out there👍🌺✌️
There was a missing solo hiker that was found alive after many days lost, he just recounted what happened to him, he thought he was an experienced hiker too, I don’t think it was in Montana though and it was recently, he couldn’t believe it himself how easily he became lost even after hiking this same trail, he recounted that he believed his goose was cooked, it scared him into learning his lesson, I hope Jennifer has this same outcome!
It’s easy to get turned around while thinking you know exactly whalers you are.
@Truth in th Word *** people get easily lost in seconds even by tie’ing their shoes 👟 **** every thing 🌳🌲🌴🌲🌲____🌳🌲🌳🌳🌳_____🌲🌲🌳🌳🌴🌴🌴🌳🌳🌳🌲_____ look 👀 all the same *** 😓😱***getting lost in them areas would scare the living lights out me 😫🧐
You get a solar battery!
@Katj Hill don’t laugh, that was me. 😉 I got lost in my back yard, went off the trail stupidly but no worries. Even tho I could SEE THE NEIGHBORS A WAY, I initially panicked. Had my big shep and tried a “go home” and in 30 seconds Ya, home. What a silly
@Adrienne M Glad you were okay and found 🤭
Was just watching a news report about a female camper in Western Montana who was attacked & killed by a bear, and a bear that was chasing hikers on Mount Wilson in Los Angeles until one of the hikers with some sort of camp chair frightened the bear off with the chair. The report said there are usually only about 40 bear attacks globally each year. All I know is that Jennifer’s parents are now in a parental hell, not knowing where their precious child is, and my heart hurts for them.
This one is tough! Glacier is a huge park that seamlessly flows into the Canadian Rockies. It’s been starting to get cold at night and the bears are getting more active. A few people have been killed by Grizzlies in that park over the last decade. It’s a beautiful park but a bad place to be wandering around without your gear. I hope she’s found soon!
They found her body it was announced a few houses ago. They haven’t released how she died yet 😭😭😭
@Josie maybe a bear, she did have a gps unless she had no reception at all. Or a bad fall that turned fatal plus off trail.
@Ametyst They are saying bad fall is likely what happened
BTW, good advice. If you wander out of camp even a short was to use the “bathroom”, take a small kit with you. It’s easy to get turned around and lost even a very short distance from the trail. People have become lost and died without a hundred yards of well marked trails. Note that Garmin watches are a convenience item, not really for serious safety and navigation use.
I just now read that Jennifer has been found deceased. No other details provided. so sorry for this terrible outcome.
Are you sure *** dear God please don’t let it be **** 😳🤭
@Katj Hill What’s funny 🙄
Jennifer has been found deceased. Prayers to the family. Thank you Bryan for what you do to bring awareness in these cases and your respect to the families.
Hello everyone, it’s with great sorrow that I tell you, Jennifer’s body was found roughly 6 hours after I uploaded this video. No further info is available currently, however, it’s believed to have been from a bad fall..It’s just so devastating as I really thought we had a good chance at finding her, and bringing her home safe. Please send your thoughts and prayers to her family, and loved ones. 🙏 they need as much love and support as they can get! I thank all of you who have posted kind words and prayers for her in your comments🙏
That’s much dangerous and people’s are very brave to go omy this day i heard about Gabby and Kylen and friend Jennifer omg 4 people if possible better not visit the place so sad to hear all this sad news
@MysteriousOklahoma agree. Respect, please !
So she went without gear etc? Sounds kind of fishy.
So very sorry to hear about the loss of Jennifer’s life. My thoughts and prayers are for the family and friends of Jennifer. Let’s keep the “missing” in our prayers on our hearts and radar. Please continue to share their stories so we can help locate them and bring them home to their loved ones.
You should not go of a pathway as you can have a fall is nearly happened to me there were lots of rock
My condolences to Jennifer’s family and friends. I can’t imagine the grief you are facing.
Three words: Personal Beacon Locator. Don’t leave home without one!
Montana is by far the most beautiful State in the U.S. particularly Glacier Park. I was there in 2006 and have wanted to get back there ever since.
Just after watching video find out she was found deceased, very sad ending. My reason for comment was to tell you that this Channel is such a great addition to the hiking community. I keep up fairly regular with Dixie at homemadewanderlust and occasionally other channels. Anyhow this was a great idea and I’m sure helpful to those in the community. Look forward to more videos hopefully with as many Happy Endings as possible!
Thank you Jon, I appreciate that! Yes, this was a very tough case..I really thought we had a good chance at finding her safe. It was devastating to learn what happened:( thank you for your thoughts and kind words🙏
Never travel alone and always check the weather before you go. Location beacon a must to! Thanks for the vid 👍🇬🇧
I live in front Royal Virginia so not too far from Richmond I’ve done that drive many times. .
It’s heartbreaking how many people go missing still in 2021 and we aren’t any closer to finding out why they go missing SMH..
My prayers are with her and her family 💙
The crazy thing I just came back from GNP and hiked the same trail with my brother most likely the same day she did, that trail is no joke if you decide to do the whole thing not sure if I’d do it alone.
We lived in THIS area for almost 12 years (Whitefish, Mt). You, no one SHOULD EVER go hiking ALONE..ANYWHERE, especially up there. This is rugged, tough country with MAJOR predators and if the area and the predators aren’t enough, the weather can change in a heartbeat. Prayers she’s found safely. Edited to add: Have just noticed the ABOVE post mentioning (SADLY) Jennifer being found deceased..possibly from a fall. Our hearts and Prayers are with her family/friends..
So sad that she has passed. She was brave heading into grizzly country at this time of year. When I was there in the fall there were all kinds of posted warnings. I started out on the main trail but turned around after going a mile out. Other hikers had told me that they had seen grizzlies around. I thought she might have been the victim of a bear attack.
Right ! I was about to add a similar comment, but yes people should not just randomly go hiking without educating themselves on the environment of the particular territory, it’s so important to have knowledge of the seasonal behaviors of the wildlife. And women hiking alone I don’t care how experienced one is you should always have a partner .
