This is so very sad. I’m praying for the family.
Amen
Niichii means friend in our language. Rest in peace baby girl. My deepest condolences to all who love her.
How tragic. My condolences to her family.
/all I can say is no way she could lift that grate.
Omg! R.I.P. beautiful little girl. How tragic. She is with God,
@SPIRIT13 THE1ST
She wasn’t found in the grate…she was found in the pond.
This is so sad. What a beautiful little girl. My heart goes to her family. Just so heartbreaking. My condolences to the family .
@Liz Regan How could he reach a window at 2 years old?
@jean gemmel he climb on something might have been a dresser, the windows were lower in that home. It even had a screen on it he knock the screen out. It happen 19 years ago he is still around and is doing fine.
My deepest condolences ๐ ๐ข
Why were her parents not watching her?
@Jay Smith That’s what I asked, I don’t understand how this could have been allowed to happen at all.
So very sorry to hear this. My prayers go out on behalf of her parents.
@Caarcrinolaas These folks are just virtue signalling and want everyone to know how heartbroken and sensitive they are while eating Cheetos on their couch…I guess it makes them feel better about who they really are .
@DL I’ve seen you comment something similar on other posts. What about these types of comments bother you so much?
@Caarcrinolaas God NEVER left her side. He is comforting her this very moment.
@IndyCastle the peoples laziness to actually help and instead post these self gratificating messages. The society needs actions not bs online messages, that’s why we find ourselves in this mess today.
@DL I understand what you’re saying, but you’re making a sweeping assumption about anyone who posts these comments. They may be doing a ton more or maybe the comment is all they are able to give right now.
Rest in Peace Sweet Angel… My condolences to the family and I wish you all the love you will need and my prayers for your long road to healing. I’m so sorry.
Your comment was so beautifully worded.
@Traci Lynn you can copy paste it on your next tragedys’ self gratificating comment…
@DL so ppl canโt have a heart thereโs gotta be strings attached for it to be about themselves?
@DL look at it this way if you have your mentality and stay quiet thereโs no room for remorse empathy or compassion
Lord take her into your arms and comfort the loved ones.
Simple & beautiful, thank you.
@Dale Lessard Mathew 19:14 Dale. Jesus had a special place in his heart for these little ones. The apostles kept pushing them away but Jesus took them on his lap and spoke to them and laughed with them. Thatโs what I think of when I see a child. Maybe they are being unruly or noisy and someone is upset. God favored the innocents in this world.
I have a 25 year old with Autism and water is where they always seem to go. My love and prayers going out to the family!!!
@Erin Slyth thank you for taking the time to explain, I didn’t understand the fascination with water but after reading your comment it makes perfect sense
For those with smaller kids on the spectrum, get them a puddle jumper. They sell them just about anywhere. Its helped my son learn to swim better because it keeps their head from going under water. He’s severely delayed but at almost 8 years old he can finally doggy-paddle swim and keep his head up out of the water.
@She is Whitney hello my son is 6 non- verbal autism and he loves the water. He goes to a school for autism and all the children there love water also. I think itโs most families that have children with autism notice they are truly drawn to water and want to be around it. This is my biggest fear if my son ever got out alone, which he has tried! We have to keep locks on top of all our doors and a alarm that dings when the door is opened.
@Joanna autistic individuals are attracted to water my parents where very glad that I knew how to swim at the age of two be because I always tried to jump into the duck pond or someoneโs pool when I was younger itโs because autistic people elope or run away and when we see water we want to go in it.
@Janet not all are
Too sad – what a beautiful little girl. Prayers to the family.
๐ช๐๐ซ poor baby girl. I’m so sorry this happened to her.
My deepest sympathy to the family. โค๐โค
I repeatedly tell my wife, never let the children out of your sight. And she tells me the same when itโs just me watching them. Turning your back for 5 minutes is all it takes. Hope the family can recover from their loss
5 minutes? It takes a split second for them to go missing, drown, fall, run to the street or get hit. Must be ultra-vigilant at all times.
@Eevee I’m on the spectrum too, but my daughter is non verbal. When I was a child my parents would give me old electronics and a screwdriver I would take things apart, try to repair them, try to rebuild them. I loved puzzles and trying to figure stuff out. I didn’t make any grand escapes like my daughter who can’t mask her autism like I did. She doesn’t have a sense of awareness, unfortunately but she’s great at getting out of stuff or into stuff, all my cabinets have locks they only stall her, she’s figured them all out, and I’ve had several different ones….lol
@Frances Michaels Right! 30 sec sometimes less.

This is so heartbreaking. I have a child with autism. I cannot imagine what the parents are going through. I don’t ever want to experience this kind of hurt. My prayers goes out to her family and friends. Rip little one ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
I have a non-verbal autistic grandson and this has broken my heart.
@Spicy Irwin You’re absolutely right. I just wonder how the little girl just wondered, away without anyone noticing this poor little girl, I feel so bad for her, she had to be so scared when she was in the water. That’s heartbreaking.
@Joy Walker where was the mom? This child been close watch its. So sad ๐

Why. Her mom let her out of her sight. To make this woman get sympathy. She needs to be put in detention for failing her child.
This is so heartbreaking, my heart aches for this family especially the parents I cannot imagine the pain. My prayers go out to the family for strength and healing. RIP little angel ๐ผ

@John C
I’m NOT religious, but I’m educated.
If you were to do a bit of research on religion, you would KNOW why God “didn’t save her”.
@Danni well I’m waiting educated guy
@John C
It’s “educated gal”, and, as I said…do your OWN research.
@Danni Religion has the most non realistic storytelling and I can’t believe people like Danni think they are true hahaha gullible people ๐
@John C
I stated in my comment…I am NOT religious, but, I am educated in theology. Every religion is fascinating, ALL of them.
Education…you should try it sometime.
Utmost respect to the friends and neighbors who kept up the search. Poor baby. Condolences to the family.
