Thats why I’m and many are not having any. Children are targeted by everything wrong with the world and world leaders violate and ruin them en mass around the world and hide it with culture, religion and bribery. I’d never bring a child to this despondent place. They have no future. Boomers made sure of that too.

How does a child go into the system and no one notices she is missing for 2 years?

    1. smileimagirl says:
      January 4, 2022 at 7:45 pm

It’s not uncommon to lose a kid in the system. It’s not an every day occurrence, and most are tracked down , but a significant amount are just lost.

    2. Andrew T. says:
      January 4, 2022 at 8:05 pm

The person who has her on their case list quits or is transferred. They transfer some of the kids to other workers. Hire a new person and transfer the load back. The new person is not aware of the case and the worker it transferred to thinks the new person has the case now. You have at least two people who think someone else has the case or is not aware of it because they had never seen it. How does UPS or whatever lose track of your package when they have to scan it almost daily and every time it is touched? Now scale that to a system that only sees them once a month or whatever. Yes, a kid is not a UPS package, but neither a meant to be lost so it happens all the same. Find me one person who has never made a mistake on the job.

    3. Donna Griffirh says:
      January 4, 2022 at 8:13 pm

@Andrew T. This is a huge mistake when we were playing with children’s lives they have way too much power to take these children and then they don’t keep them protected they need to be investigated and they need to be watched over by Independent party

Social services in the US is underfunded and understaffed. They are to check on the children often and this is nothing knew. Majority of them are involved in trafficking so I’m sadly not even surprised. I’m happy this came out so maybe the FBI or some agency can look into them all

@R VW Yes they talk like babies infront of camera who got lots to do with their heavy hearts first, instead of doing their job fast they are paid for. They have arrested kid’s father now who had lost custody of her for giving her a black eye. It has took about a week I guess even to do that or let the public know, after knowing the child is missing.

If she was a foster child, she might’ve gone missing in between placements. So her school, neighbours, etc might’ve assumed she went to live somewhere else. It’s also likely that they were not allowed to know where her next placement is, that’s why no one outside the system checked on her

It boggles my mind how a child go missing for SO long without anyone noticing. My channel does true crime and covered a similar case about 4 year old Rilya Wilson. She was missing for 15 months before anyone even noticed she was gone. It’s pretty much the same scenario. A social worker didn’t do the required checks and when a new social worker realized what was going on, that’s how it was discovered she was missing.

    3. Sigiled says:
      January 4, 2022 at 5:30 pm

@justrosy5 Children have rights. And the government yet again failed to protect a child in favor of (guessing by what’s most common) letting the parents just move, probably to escape investigation; and/or pulling her from school so mandatory reporters can’t be privy to the abuse. Another child has in all likelihood lost their life to the hands of abuse the system failed to protect them from.

Y’all are amazing! For what happens in a social economical situation… did none of you take 10th grade government? It’s not the “parties” which make the decisions in our states, it’s the people! It’s your responsibility to hold your governments in your States responsible for decisions made on cutting Public Health costs! MS LadyJM, if it’s such common knowledge in Georgia children are being sold then why aren’t you the one who made the call to the newspaper and threw a fit about what is happening there? It’s the people, the citizens of a state or Commonwealth, who decide. More people are worried about whether they’re raising your taxes rather than where your taxes go such as social service programs! YOU ARE the ONE who can make a change!!!

How does a gov’t department lose a child? There should be reports, hearings, levels of chain of command & oversight. This is the authority that is tasked to remove children from dangerous situations, teach unfit parents how to parent & make recommendations that practically decide children’s futures. Any parent who reported a child missing after two years would likely be charged with anything the police could come up with. What is going on here? If this isn’t a wake up call that child protective services needs a complete overhaul idk what is. It’s horrible that the kids suffer and the workers who truly care & do their best still have to deal with a broken system.
