    1. @rebeccamiller1741 This is a typical American thing. In Switzerland for example our children walk alone to kindergarten and back. School same thing. And surprise we have no school shootings to.

  1. OAK-AN-AW-GHAN…. Okanagan Valley native here.
Lots of people going missing in BC for some reason. You should cover the Jack family disappearance in Prince George if haven’t already.

  2. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone missing a child or loved one,i can’t imagine the pain and heartbreak you live everyday of your life.😢 hugs to all

    1. My heart aches for these parents that don’t know where their babies are. No matter how old they are they are their babies. My daughter went home to be with Jesus in heaven at age 28. I know where she is and I often think of parents who are suffering with the pain of missing children. God be with you all I pray for you all. 🙏 ❤

    1. Well the downtown East-side is an absolute crazy circus…however it is literally only 3-4 blocks….certainly not recommended for sight seeing. With that said, the rest of the city is pretty darn safe..specially if you compare it to Seattle…just 150 miles south.

    2. The lower mainland is beautiful ! … Not sure what you’re talking about … Vancouver is a nice city … EVERY large city has undesirable areas … Dint write off an entire metropolis for those bad apples … The fraser valley is gorgeous too … I’d sooner live there than anywhere back east … I currently reside in the Okanagan … but was born in Hong/Van couver

  3. Everything I hear about an indigenous woman has disappeared, it’s always been after she and her friends have accepted rides from people, usually men, they barely or do not know. Why is that? Most of us teens and young adults are taught to not do this because it can be dangerous. Do indigenous people not realize this? And her mother was right not to say she was indigenous because, unfortunately, most RCMP and USA law enforcement don’t take their disappearances seriously. I’m just curious – why do ingenious women trust strangers so much?

    1. Perhaps it’s a rebellious attitude thing. The entire community pushes for awareness, the teen is sick of it and decides to do the opposite? Just a guess of course.

It’s not from lack of awareness. This sort of stuff is repeated everywhere ad nauseum. So there has got to be a different motivator for opening up to a stranger.

    2. They probably use good looking guys that are very smooth and sociable, and maybe it doesn’t happen much to others as in. The aren’t approached

    3. @@user-ot9gi5qn6y Perhaps they are also First Nations, claiming to know people in her community.
If they are really so trusting, there must be a sense of “familiarity” or “common ground”.
Maybe that’s why it isn’t taken seriously by outside authorities. To non-natives, this would seem like a completely internal issue being twisted just to attack whites (again).

  4. From the 60s to the 80s London, Ontario was the serial killer capital of the world. There were more active serial killers per capita in London, Ontario than anywhere else in the world during that time period.

    1. I lived in London and I worked with 2 different guys that both had gf’s who were murdered by unknown people. The serial killers are still prominent well into 2000’s

    2. Wow ! That is terrible. Sounds like the police are not doing their job. Seriously, need some specialists there just to track these kinds of monsters.

    3. Is that right, wow. I would’ve thought the US would’ve been first for the most active serial killers per capita. What serial killers were active then in London?

    1. Illegal labor, sex slavery and forced organ donation. The three main causes of disappearances in the West.

In mainland China women are found from all over Asia, that were kidnapped and brought into the country to serve as unwilling “wives”. There are over 10 million more men than women* in China, and they are now of the age when they are expected to settle down and have a family.

      * Thanks to the “one-child policy” and abortion of unborn females

    1. Oh ummm sir it’s not the greatest at this time . Unfortunately even making 50k a year is considered poor ! I can barely afford groceries I went from well off the poor real quick ! I grew up poor so I’m okay but a lot of people are not mentally struggling !

    2. @@Livingapril It’s a weird change in atmosphere: regular people all over have chosen to let their inner wackadoodle out. I hardly go out anymore because just your average person has become an entitled nutbar.

And like everywhere, things have not recovered after the pandemic even though things here were not bad during. Companies are trying to recoup their pandemic losses on the backs of the customers (who ultimately can’t afford it). Everything has gone downhill, but I imagine that might be the same everywhere. I suspect that it’s only going to get worse over the next couple of years, I really hope that it doesn’t.

  5. Thank you for covering Nicole’s disappearance. I’m from the area where she vanished almost 40 years ago.
Her mom chose to stay in the same apartment for the rest of her life. She kept Nicole’s room, as it was when she disappeared, waiting for her to come home. Prayers for Nicole and her family.

    1. That’s so heartbreaking. I would do the same thing.. I just watched this so is Nicole the one who called her friend and said ” this guy won’t bring me back?”. It said the mom talked to him and he said he couldn’t tell her .. did he mean he couldn’t tell her what happened to her daughter because he’d be in trouble?? I think he knows exactly what happened to her.. I’m betting she didn’t do what someone wanted so they got rid of her or are using her in sex trafficking..

  6. Two words:
    Human trafficking.

I lived in Victoria BC for 17 years.
Nearly everyday, you hear of young girls/ boys plus young adults going missing / vanishing into thin air, never to be seen or heard from again..

In the lower mainland area and on the island people just vanish..

Being on the coast , it’s way to easy to get snatched, put on a boat, and taken away, never to be seen again.

It’s a HUGE problem which doesn’t nearly get the attention it deserves.
So many organised criminal organizations operating in these capacities.

Combine that with the massive drug problem in the bC coastal area and I’m not surprised by constant disappearances.

I’ve been screaming about this human trafficking problem for the last 15 years. 🤷🏻

    1. You are exactly right! That’s what going on everywhere! Everywhere. And they don’t try or know what to do who to arrest etc. it’s like this everywhere, I worry to death about my grdchildren.. it’s a scary world we live in and now Biden has allowed millions of illegals immigrants into America and already some have raped murdered, etc.. but the cartel is trafficking drugs and humans. And, young ppl don’t seem to understand, to be careful.. it’s a unsafe world

    2. It is strange because is such a safe city to live in so someone is keeping media quiet or it has to do with some paranormal reasons.

    3. @@nicocontreras5366
      Victoria??
      You’re wrong about that..
Victoria is not a “safe city” by any stretch of the imagination.
      It never has been..
That’s an ‘illusion’ you buy into.

    4. @@RobHellfire666 You are right but being southamerican, Victoria seemed like a glass of milk to me and to many people but of course, there are things people may miss.

    1. Safe? Human trafficking, or someone has got you locked up in the basement.. it’s terrifying to even think what’s going on with the poor kids who are taken..my heart breaks for them and parents

  7. The one thing I’ll say as a man that came from British Columbia. The reason why people are starting to go missing and go crazy out there. It’s because the drugs the government literally legalized every drug. You don’t think people are going to go crazy. This is a failing on our government’s end. This has nothing to do with the provinces on their own. It’s the governments that run the provinces. Alberta is no better. British Columbia if you guys remember the Picton farm serial killer. Yeah, he’s eligible for daytime parole. Just so you know, I didn’t think that we were releasing serial killers. I thought that once you became a serial killer and like that was your thing. You were sentenced to prison for life not for 30 years. Life the system screwed. We’re not punishing people. We’re just putting him in a room. Giving him food doesn’t sound like punishment to me so there’s no real risk in breaking the law

    1. There are prisoners in the Canadian system right now that have a: “Dangerous Offender” Designation which, in most cases will bring forward a life imprisonment in a Canadian prison. The inmate has a parole board review every 7 years but the parole board is generally inclined to deny parole to those that have this designation, in about 99% of the cases. This then repeats itself every 7 years until the prisoner passes away…we are talking 30..40..50 years and beyond.
