Battlefield 6’s Season 3 is officially coming to an end, and while I genuinely think it’s been the game’s strongest season yet in terms of content, it also exposed some of Battlefield’s biggest problems. In this review, I break down everything Season 3 got right, including Railway to Golmud, Cairo Bazaar, the M16, Tactical Obliteration, Ranked, and the massive gunplay overhaul that finally made combat feel more consistent and skill-based. At the same time, I discuss the technical issues that continue to plague the game, from RedSec server problems and game-breaking bugs to missing features, StrikePoint’s disappearance, and the ongoing struggles with Frostbite. Season 3 proves DICE is capable of delivering great Battlefield content, but the live service still feels held back by technical debt and inconsistent execution. Let me know whether you think Season 3 was a success, and whether Battlefield 6 is finally headed in the right direction as Season 4 approaches.
