  1. You need to stay in your own community – stand together. You are strong. Your kids need this. It makes them even stronger! As a teacher, I will stand with these people if it was my community. TEACH!
Hats off to the teachers who say “I can teach here”

    1. STAND TOGEATHER NO MATTER WHAT. DO NOT ALLOWD THESE BILLIONAIRS TO TAKE OVER WHAT BELONGS TO YOU DO NOT BE AFRIAD OF THEM.THEY MAY HAVE THE BILLIONS, BUT YOU HAVE GOD WHO FIGHTS YOUR BATTLES. YOUR COMMUNITY MUST STAND STRONG AND PLEASE DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERS. DON’T GIVE UP,YOUR CHILDRE HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE A HOME IN THE LAND WERE THEY ARE GROWING UP.

  2. My family and I visited Lahaina for the first time last year to scatter my father’s ashes. The people of Lahaina were so warm and comforting to us in our grief. But what I observed is the pride and honor the local community shares in their environment and heritage, and hope the government will listen and take steps to PRESERVE the past as it prepares to rebuild. We love you Lahaina! Stay strong!

  3. Don’t let them take your children away. They need there parents and community at this difficult phase in there mor life.

    1. Putting those children back in the hands of a state school is tantamount to putting the fox in charge of the henhouse!

    2. It’s almost like parents and churches need to come together and make free private schools in the area where standards like outdoor tents and temp potty‘s are allowed. Public schools are not for the public, they’re for the government. Public school was bad it’s just a government welfare system that pushes their secular humanist religious beliefs not an actual perk of taxes where kids learn facts or skills.

  4. Parents and/ or other members of the community need to take over the education of children – worldwide – in my opinion. We should no longer entrust our most precious offspring to bureaucracies which have proven themselves to be detrimental to our best interests. The disaster in Maui highlights this fact!

    1. I totaly agree with you, from France, in usa, In Europe, specialy in france, their is no mot serious studies, even for little children, but wokisme in school, it is disgusting, they want the end of cultures, our, your, specialy old cultures like your,s they want it to disaper, we must resist.

    2. If they would pay parents to school the children instead of the millions that go to the school district, it might be easier for parents to stay home to do this, otherwise nobody can afford to homeschool the kids! It’s not that easy as people like to think

    1. This would help to find the missing chilren/parents they need a list of people not accounted for and publish their names on media and internet and to contact them…Praying for Maui

    2. @Di, isn’t it strange that only people who are taking public donations are making videos about 2000 missing children, but none of the parents are? The parents were supposedly at work, so it’s illogical to assume they are all dead. This meeting would have been the perfect opportunity for grieving parents to ask for help finding their missing children, but not one of them did. If there’s 2000 missing children, that’s between 2000 to 4000 parents who have not made a single public outcry for their children to be found. Only people taking public donations are making the videos about missing children. Does that sound logical to you?

  5. Where are the missing children? Why isn’t the mayor answering this question? Why would you even consider busing the children to another part of the island? Isn’t there churches still standing that could be used for schools? Churches usually have rooms for the children, couldn’t they be used until school buildings can be rebuilt? Children need to be close to the parents at this time.

    1. @Elisha Forrester That’s what happens when parents think it’s somebody else’s job to teach their kids! All they will ever be taught in state schools is how to be a obedient little slave and do as they are told! How to serve the very people and system that destroyed their home and their lives.

  6. We are CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a DEMOCRACY. They answer to US we do not answer to them. We need to remember that.

    1. “Your suggestions will be considered.” * Considered *. No. His role now is to say YES. This is all just common sene. I am watching all this from the Midwest and am flabbergasted by the way the local goverment has handled this, the local mayor and police seem to have helped * cause * this.

And where the HECK has the military been all this time? One of our biggest military bases is in Hawaii, Naval base. I keep thinking, as I watch all of this, WHERE WERE THEY DURING THE FIRE? WHERE WERE THEY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FIRE?

Here in Chicago the fire department has large “water” boats that shoot out lake water into fires. The Navy MUST have the equivalent.

The Navy can respond FAST to any military emergency, they have ships that can travel FAST, they have tens of thousands of military rations, etc .

Where were they after the fire? Why werent they there IMMEDIATELY with tents and rations and medical care?

This Superintendent still doesnt get it. He’s not there to take “suggestions”, he is there to take ORDERS from the parents. He works for them.

  7. Organize!! don’t ask for permission from a system unwilling to do what is right for the sake of the children.. parents among teachers and those who can assist to watch over children so others can work and help the community. Unity!!!! is the only way forward!! I stand with you and all the people of Maui… you have an army of people across nations ready to assist!! with love 💗

    1. Always remember, even the school superintendents and teachers they work for you you’re an United States constitutional republic nation. You are the parent the system works for us. We the people not the other way around and just for the record when they say we’re a democracy. No we aren’t a democracy run nation is under dictator ship. We have democracy because it allows us to vote and cast our votes. That’s where that comes in at united we stand divided we shall fall. Don’t let this happen to Maui. My family is part of Maui and Hawaiian islands since 1802 aloha and Mahalo we are all one🌸🌺🌞

  8. Parents of the remaining children keep your children near you and away from these evil governing forces with malicious intent

  9. Stay strong! Idaho stands with you Lahaina!!! Don’t let these corrupted people take your land and children from you! 💪💪💪

  10. My heart breaks for your community and families. Stay strong-don’t let them take your children away to go somewhere else-they need to be by you. Praying and donating from MN!
