Search efforts for missing child Johnathan Everett Boley have been temporarily called off due to serious safety concerns, according to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say multiple explosive devices were discovered during a search connected to this case, making it unsafe for civilian volunteers to continue at this time. Law enforcement remains actively involved, and the investigation is ongoing.
🔎 What we know:
• Johnathan was last seen on December 31, 2025, around 11:30 a.m.
• Location: 7000 block of Highway 195 in Jasper
• Description: white male child, blonde hair, blue eyes, approximately 4 feet tall, 50 pounds
• Clothing: yellow Mickey Mouse shirt, black pants, Paw Patrol shoes
• He may have been with a dog at the time he went missing
Johnathan was supposed to be returned to his mother that day. She has since traveled from Florida as authorities continue coordinating next steps. The sheriff has also confirmed plans to meet with the FBI for further assistance.
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Even though organized searches are paused, public awareness is critical. Someone may have seen Johnathan, the dog, or something that didn’t seem right.
📞 If you have ANY information, no matter how small, contact local law enforcement immediately.
