🔹 Case 12 — Kodiak (2010)
On March 30, 2010, a human jawbone was discovered along a beach in Kodiak. Examination confirmed the remains belonged to a male, but no additional bones or personal items were ever located. Whether carried by tides or disturbed long after death remains unknown.
🔹 Case 11 — Galena (2011)
A hiker discovered fragments of a human skull near Galena on September 23, 2011. The remains belonged to a male. No other skeletal elements or identifying evidence were recovered.
🔹 Case 10 — Pybus Bay (2013)
A single human mandible was found near Pybus Bay on November 3, 2013. Determined to belong to a male, the fragment may have travelled significant distances through Alaska’s coastal waters.
🔹 Case 9 — Kvichak (2014)
On July 17, 2014, a human mandible was discovered entangled in a fishing net near Kvichak. No additional remains were found, leaving investigators with only a fragment and unanswered questions.
🔹 Case 8 — Kruzof Island near Sitka (2020)
Human remains belonging to a man aged approximately 30–50 were found along an overgrown path near Shoals Point, a known World War II–era site. The remote location and historical significance complicate efforts to determine when — or how — he died.
🔹 Case 7 — Anchorage (2021)
A civilian discovered a partial skull near Campbell Creek on May 15, 2021. The remains belonged to a male, but no identifying items were recovered.
🔹 Case 6 — Anchorage (2022)
An adult male was found deceased near B Street and C Street in December 2022. Standing approximately 5ft 9in with black hair, he wore multiple layers of dark clothing and carried a flashlight. Despite being found within the city, he remains unidentified.
🔹 Case 5 — Fairbanks (2023)
Human remains were discovered inside a residence after a man had not been seen for about a month. Possibly known as John Carroll, the white male victim was found alone, though official identification and circumstances remain unclear.
🔹 Case 4 — Willow (2004)
Remains believed to belong to a former property owner were discovered beneath a tarp on private land. The man may have been Manfred Huith, but definitive answers surrounding his death were never publicly confirmed.
🔹 Case 3 — Selawik (2024)
Bones belonging to a male were found on tundra approximately one mile from a village burial ground. Flooding, wildlife, or environmental changes may have moved the remains, leaving investigators uncertain of their origin.
🔹 Case 2 — Anchorage (2024)
A newborn infant boy was found outdoors wrapped in flannel, his umbilical cord still attached. No mother was located nearby. The tragic circumstances remain unresolved, and the child has never been identified.
🔹 Case 1 — Anchorage (2025)
Partial skeletal remains of a man were discovered in a creek by fishermen. Distinctive tattoos — including the name “Trevor Taylor” across the back — may hold the key to identification, yet his identity and circumstances remain unknown.
