In 1999, Genelle Bradford was reported missing by her family. About a month later, a woman’s remains were found in the cellar of a vacant Wilkinsburg home. The remains matched the missing woman’s general description, but the cases were never connected.
For nearly 27 years, she was known only as Wilkinsburg Jane Doe. In 2026, forensic genetic genealogy identified her as Genelle Princess Bradford. Her homicide remains unsolved.
Allegheny County Police are asking anyone with information about Genelle Bradford’s death to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
