More than 100 millionaires, including Gary Lineker and Brian Eno, have urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to introduce higher taxes on the wealthiest people.
The group Patriotic Millionaires supports a 2% tax on wealth above £10m, arguing it would fund investment and reduce inequality. Critics say wealthy people can already choose to pay more through Treasury donations.
