On 24 November 1971 a man calling himself Dan Cooper bought a one-way ticket from Portland to Seattle, handed a flight attendant a note, and six hours later stepped out of the back of a moving Boeing 727 with $200,000 strapped to his body.
Every one of those ten thousand twenty-dollar bills had its serial number photographed before it was handed over. In fifty-five years, $5,800 has been recovered. The rest has never appeared anywhere on earth.
This is what the physical evidence actually supports — and why every answer so far has failed.
We do not name a culprit, because nobody honestly knows.
