Sewing an Easy Adjustable Apron, Homemade Quiche & Home Decor | Slow Living 🌿

Hi! 😊🩷
Welcome to… another quiet day at home filled with simple things I love: sewing, homemade food and decorating my home. 🌿

I started the morning by watering a few plants in the kitchen and then got ready to make a simple adjustable apron using a beautiful piece of fabric.

Before starting the sewing, I prepared a homemade tuna, mushroom and pineapple quiche for lunch. While the quiche was baking, I returned to my sewing machine and began putting the apron together, adding the adjustable side tie and, later, the pockets.

Once the apron was finished, I also had a few new home decor pieces to find a place for, including a beautiful teapot and some lovely little birds. I enjoy adding small details to our home and seeing how they can change a little corner of the room.

By the end of the day, I was wearing my new handmade apron and enjoying the little changes I had made around the house.

Simple sewing, homemade food, home decorating and the quiet pleasures of everyday life. 🩷

Thank you for spending a little part of your day with me.

2 cans tuna
150 g mushrooms
5 pineapple slices
1 onion
½ red bell pepper
50 g olives

Salt & black pepper to taste

Method:
Make the pastry by combining the flour, butter, egg and salt. Roll out and place in a tart tin. Sauté the onion and pepper in olive oil, then add the mushrooms, tuna, pineapple and olives. Beat the eggs with the cream and season. Add to the filling, pour over the pastry and bake at 180°C / 350°F for about 40 minutes, until golden and set.
