For three struggling gatherers, a single successful harvest could change their lives forever.
None of them imagined it could also erase the lives they already had.
Beyond the forest’s edge, Night Orchids bloom beneath dead trees like stars fallen from the heavens. But deeper within Vordrorn, abandoned camps stand untouched, ancient webs stretch between the pines, and forgotten elven ruins conceal ceremonies never meant for human eyes.
Something lives above those ruins.
Something even the ettercaps fear.
And when its webs begin to tremble, every prisoner in the forest falls silent.
The creature does not hunger for flesh.
It feeds upon memories.

Years after escaping Vordrorn, one survivor discovers that distance offers little protection. Memories continue disappearing. Familiar scents awaken fragments of a nightmare she can no longer completely remember.

Nobles continue wearing their perfume.
And another gathering party has just departed Neverwinter in search of fortune.
