Hello. In this video I discuss some recent stories relating to autism and ADHD in the media, including Prof Uta Frith’s ridiculous claim that Chris Packham ‘cannot be autistic’ as he’s a brilliant communicator. I also talk about Dr Max Pemberton and The Great ADHD Myth? which aired on Channel 4 this week. It’s every bit as awful as I think everyone expected it to be. Finally, I talk about the recent death of Prof Jason Arday, a Black autistic man who died last week after an horrendous media campaign against him.
I so wish I could’ve spoken for much longer on all three stories, but I’ve not been well this week 🧡
