In July 2015, children walking their dog near a pond in St. Petersburg found a severed limb wrapped in a shower curtain inside a black garbage bag. It led police to 68-year-old Tamara Samsonova — a seemingly harmless old lady who was actually one of Russia’s most terrifying serial killers.
The media called her the Granny Ripper. At her own trial, she blew kisses to everyone in the courtroom.
