Why do capable music producers remain stuck, even after years of learning, practising and improving their technical skills?
This 15-minute audio reflection explores what may actually be happening when your music stops moving forward.
Sometimes the problem is not another missing technique, plugin or piece of production knowledge. The music may be revealing something deeper: overthinking, hesitation, disconnection from your instincts, uncertainty about your identity, or simply not knowing which problem deserves your attention first.
In this piece, I explore why capable producers can remain caught in the same patterns and what needs to change before the music can move forward again.
If this feels familiar, Sonic Collective is my two-month small-group mentorship for producers who want to understand what is really holding them back and work through it with focused guidance, honest feedback and a small group of like-minded artists.
