Retired Compton Police Sergeant Fred Reynolds continues his account of an investigation that began after Chief Hourie Taylor and Captain Percy Perrodin were placed on administrative leave.
What began as an investigation into two kilos of cocaine discovered in a locked locker led Fred to something far more troubling.
As Fred followed the evidence, he uncovered missing cocaine, questionable drug destruction records, and suspicious activity involving an officer assigned to the narcotics unit. Then came a blue crate filled with cocaine that appeared in the vault overnight.
But according to Fred, those who assigned him the investigation appeared more interested in building a case against the chief than pursuing the suspected narcotics theft he had uncovered.
Fred reveals where the investigation led, what he discovered, and what happened when he brought his findings forward.
THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.
