When a highly anticipated artwork goes missing moments before its gallery unveiling, two chaotic detectives pull a roomful of colourful suspects into an interrogation room. The lineup includes a jealous rival artist, an entitled buyer, a dramatic critic and even a mother who has already given up on her son.
Each witness gives their own version of the truth, and the story unravels into a comedy filled with contradictions, ego clashes and complete confusion. At the centre of it all is a simple brown paper bag that somehow becomes the focus of a ridiculous mystery none of them can solve.
When the detectives finally review the CCTV footage, the real sequence of events turns out to be far more absurd and far more human than any of them expected.
Chasing The Bag is a fast paced comedy mystery about perception, ego and the wild lengths people go to for recognition, validation and a potential payday.
