An Oklahoma woman is facing charges after investigators discovered a body buried on property where she lived with her missing boyfriend, Troy Tolton.
Tolton was reported missing in August 2026, nearly two weeks after his girlfriend, Agnes Crenshaw, claimed he drove away from their home in Tecumseh and never returned.
Investigators say several pieces of evidence raised questions about her account, including Tolton’s abandoned pickup truck, suspicious cellphone activity and surveillance footage that appeared to contradict his reported movements.
The biggest break came when investigators discovered surveillance footage allegedly showing Crenshaw renting an excavator on July 31, the same day she claimed Tolton disappeared.
During an October 13 search of the property, investigators discovered a human body buried underground, wrapped in a blue tarp secured with black tape.
Crenshaw was arrested and accused of desecration of a human corpse and unlawful removal of a dead body. The affidavit does not establish the cause of death or explicitly confirm the body’s identity.
