EAS Scenario | The Sun Disappeared | Alert World

The sun disappeared 5 minutes ago. There are now 3 minutes of sunshine left. After this, the light previously emitted by the sun will cease to be captured by the earth. Life can continue and will not be extinguished when the lights go out. We estimate that there are still 4 days to go before the earth's surface temperature becomes unliveable.

  1. im ngl i love how the voice sounded so hopeless and like desperate immediately

im realizing a lot of ppl say this but theres fr something about the way hes able to make even the robotic voices come off so panicked 10/10😭

  2. it feels like its been a while since an alert world video told me to turn on subtitles! though i was caught off when the text to speech at 5:44 suddenly dropped the spanish accent and started talking in a gringo accent LMAO. as a hispanic i was really confused and was about to laugh. other than that, nice video

  3. they say you can get books from libraries to burn but still have to clarify in an emergency broadcast that there are no late fees for library books lol

    1. Alright Einstein, maybe there were Strong signs of the sun rapidly reducing in luminosity before a sudden appearance? We don’t know the lore surrounding the emergency announcement but maybe scientists had clues before hand?

All the “know it alls” keep mentioning this point, but no one seems to notice that’s it’d actually take a few months for the air temperature to reach below freezing not 4 days. Things would get dire but THAT rapidly

    2. @@ButlerthebutlerButlerthebutler Can you elaborate on what you meant? I was saying that since radio travels at light speed, they would have had to know at least three minutes early- assuming they had that prepared. If they didn’t- it’s at least 30 minutes early.

    3. Probably a probe on the sun sending high tech transmissions to Earth. It’s 2037 so I’d say tech would be farther, but not that far ahead from now

    1. Well, it can. We have artificial lighting and heat. We have nuclear power, and since this scenario it’s 2037, we can assume that large-scale fusion reactors are up and running, which makes power virtually limitless. Life will continue, but many people will die.

  4. The crackling sound with no talking over guams part ( 6:14 ) really adds an eerie fallout feeling. Like you’d be sitting in a quiet room with your family thinking about how life can go on while that static crackle plays in the background.

  5. 2:17 honestly this scene is incredible

The way it goes from the standard sounds of a busy airport before slowly fading into panicked screaming during the announcement is amazing

    1. Also amazing detail how only some of the airport goers panic during the Japanese announcement, those who understand it, but the English messages caused a massive uproar.
