Five people have been arrested in connection to Wednesday's Amber Alert in Milwaukee.

An Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old Milwaukee girl has since been canceled after she was found safe.

Police say a 48-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, two 25-year-old women, and an 18-year-old man were arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

The Milwaukee Police Department issued the alert earlier in the day after she was last seen near 50th and Meinecke. Police said it was possible she was with a 29-year-old man from Milwaukee.
