This is what predictors look for. We walk our children to school as young children but teens don’t want to be walked anywhere.
My 11 year old is rarely out of my sight and when she is, I’ve got other eyes on her plus GPS in her phone. If she’s gonna be out and about riding bikes or whatever, she wears a GPS tag and carries a walkie talkie w/ GPS on it, since we can communicate quickly that way and it has an emergency button that sends me her location and siren. I’ve taught her to be very street wise and observant. I don’t care what anyone thinks of me tagging her w/ GPS, and yes she’ll keep that up til she moves out. At 30. lol
