Seventeen-year-old Arjun Aravind is charged with murdering his mother, Sudha Venkatesan, 45, and his 14-year-old brother, Siddharth Aravind, in their Massachusetts home. Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said investigators found “concerning internet behavior,” including searches on ChatGPT for theoretical ideas and fantasy stories about killing his family. Prosecutors say Aravind was later found in a stolen vehicle and arrested without incident. Both victims’ deaths have been ruled homicides, with apparent blunt force trauma involved. A judge ordered a mental health evaluation and agreed to hold Aravind without bail.
