Ohio just sentenced a man to 2yrs probation for hitting & killing someone with their car…how’s that.!!
@teresa4773 Hitting intentionally or accidentally makes a big difference.
I looked up the actual sentence, the video got it wrong.
He received 3 sentences that will run consecutively, each one being 5-to-life. WHe received a life sentence for each kid, but the 5 years each get added to make it 15-to-life. The 15 years just means that’s when he would be eligible for parole, not that it will be granted. If he is never paroled, he will spend his life in prison.
I will never understand why the sentences involving anything to do with children are not looked at and made punishable by life imprisonment. These monsters have been proven to be irredeemable filth.
If those kids didn’t have a phone, they never would have been found alive.

@stephaniemitchell5760not ridiculous the suspect could’ve done that regardless 😂😂 use your noodle before spewing nonsense yes the officers could’ve handled it differently but until back up arrives and in order to not allow anything to happen to the children who better to watch one area than the children’s mother 😁🤷🏾♂️ makes sense in the moment and hindsight but again I’m just someone who would’ve stood there and made sure he didn’t run or anything like the officer asked because I’m worried about my child’s wellbeing
When the kids crawled out and then two of them hugged each other I just teared up. 😢 thank goodness they were found safe.

I think they were brothers. But yes, it was heartbreaking to see them scrabble out of that space. You can hear how terrified they are. I’m glad they’re safe! I teared up when the boy started crying when he saw his mum. That monster has done this before for sure. The police would have to taze me or something to stop me getting to that evil pos!

Agreed. I know the mom is in shock but she needs to focus on saving her kids. The officer got annoyed/confused when she used “I think so”. That’s important time, thankfully the lady helped her.
I have only one child, my son, his name is remmington and he is 2 years old. i would without hesitation, any day, willingly give my life for his even if it meant mine. This is why i told you, DO NOT JUDGE, you judged me thinkink “you dont know what you would do if your child was kidnapped” without knowing that i am a fatther, i do have a child and if that happened to him weather moraly right or wrong, i know exactly what i am willing to sacrafice for him… how fucking dare you…

She was but the cop should have told the mom to get in with him so they can both locate her son rather than letting the mom and another lady potentially walking into a dangerous situation alone.
I’m sorry for these kids. But I can’t help but think, that there was three of them & no one dared tried to run away? They just let him force them to obey him w/out seeing a gun or a knife he claimed to have. The parents need to send these young boys to defense school.

Or less subtle. Attacking them at a park, marching them through the streets then using both theirs and his own phone to record everything, AND letting the other kids keep their phones. His reasoning for doing it makes no sense either. It’s like he just wanted to go to prison.

The way the cops handled this was bizarre. The kids should have first been taken to the hospital not questioned in front of everyone.
They need as much evidence so they can get to secure an arrest that will prevent him being able to get bail. This will prevent his release. Seems rough but is necessary. They need the information sooner than later to make changes stick and receive the harshest punishment.
@jojomcgee3430no. It’s not necessary or required, or normally done. They can do it at the hospital. They can do it on the ambulance, and they should NEVER do it without parents, but they are talking without the parents. It’s wildly unusual to conduct any investigation with kinds involved this way.
exactly …. the cops need accountability and training for juvenile victims of trauma the were like unorganized and gave away so much information to the suspect and seem to be biased. If those kids were white they would have been comforted and the cops would not have been so casual
@shawnabopsadly, I had this exact thought. Like they had that subconscious blaming of the victims you see with rape victims sometimes.
The mother’s were the driving force in finding those boys. They were amazing.

First 24 hours typically determine if they get their sons back, or corpses… If anything. It’s not pleasant to think about, as a parent, but is a serious reason to try and keep tabs on your kids. My parents had this life360 or the like app, and it was simple, pinging GPS so long as it was active, or periodically, and mostly let us see when Dad was on his way home from work, and if he would be bringing groceries home for the kids to unload and put away.

Teach your kids to RAISE HELL before being taken to a different location. Yell, run, fight…make them DRAG you kicking and screaming.
You can even hear one of the moms in Spanish saying “and why did you go with him?”

Sound advice. Thankfully, never had to use it. I’m 30 now so I think I’m safe…
And don’t allow yourself to be moved to a different location. There were other adults at that park.
