National missing children org says TikTok Virginia mass abduction rumors are false

Several recent TikTok videos showing compilations of children reported missing in Virginia have garnered millions of views. One video shows screenshots of missing children that appear to be from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's website, and had over 1.8 million views and nearly 350,000 likes as of Wednesday afternoon. Khang-Sofer says while the recent mass abduction theories are false, it doesn't mean children who run away aren't in danger. It also doesn't mean they don't deserve the attention of law enforcement to help find them.

    1. Yea sure like 160 parents wouldn’t be SCREAMING ABOUT THEIR MISSING KIDS!!!
Christ can’t anyone critically think anymore?!?
      All IQs beneath 80??
There’s no KIDS MISSING!!! You didn’t watch or listen? Go FOAD mmmmk?

  1. Why is nobody talking about the fact that the parents are ACTUALLY NOT talking about their children missing. Think about it. By now their flyers would be out by parents, they would come together and have a major riot. I even heard that there was a girl who was on the list and her sister said it wasn’t true because she was at home. SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET BEHIND THIS. MAKE AN ACTUAL NEWS. QUESTION THE PARENTS. I’M TELLING Y’ALL SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT.

    1. @mizuki4127 Since when do ppl actually care about black children going missing? Think about how many ppl advocate to find their children and it falls on deaf ears

    2. @TitiLectric😒ma’am with all do respect. Black children aren’t the only children missing right about now. RACE IS NOT IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW. There’s literally different races on those lists. No need to make it about black people alone is like y’all be fishing for the attention and bring the bad name on our race as black people. Seek help.

    3. @TitiLectricyou literally just got lucky because I’m guessing YouTube removed my comment. But there’s no need to race in this. There are different children of any race in that country missing and it was not needed to put them in it.

    1. Ya I feel like that should be illegal to do in the middle of the bloody night they up to no good trying to find minors to sell drugged/roofied ice cream to??? 😅

    2. @Ggsrwmno it’s not normal at least not in Canada no ice cream trucks here and the last time we had ice cream trucks I was like 12 years old &now I’m in my early 40’s 😂

    3. @crashingwavesoraclelook up “what’s the hours ice cream trucks are supposed to be running in virginia”. It’s normal like I said depending on state and city. It sucks having Virginia now being recognized and represented like this on the internet. People are so easily manipulated on here, and I bet you as a Canadian wouldn’t want to go to Virginia now because of this misinformation and I’m sorry if you feel like that. As a Virginian it ain’t bad at all.

  2. Everyone knows this is not true. Why do the government try to hide stuff and it’s obvious not everyone is dumb enough to believe this. We need to be focusing on helping these kids without the police because obviously they will not do anything. What has America become?

  3. The ice cream truck is definitely not a rumor!!! So idk why they are trying to cover up what’s going on but you guys be weary of your preteens! I have one and I have to watch all her devices and make sure she is in bed where she is supposed to be! A local friend of hers went missing so she’s starting to take things more seriously now! But make sure you know where they are because chasing fun can lead to the worst possible outcome.
